Photography and checks

Images that match the piece

Every product is photographed in soft, even daylight with controlled reflections, so tone and form stay easy to judge. Close-up views show the clasp, the edges, and the surface, so you can see the details before you choose.

Descriptions stay plain. We note the tone, the approximate weight, and how the closure is constructed, and we avoid claims about materials or durability that we cannot verify.

How pieces are chosen

Three criteria for every piece

01

Balanced weight

Each piece is handled to check that it sits comfortably and holds its shape when worn, so the weight you expect is the weight you get.

02

Durable clasps

We look at how clasps and links are constructed and test that they close firmly, describing closures exactly as they are built.

03

Refined surface finish

We review the surface under close light for an even, clean finish, and note any visible variation in the product description.
